ABSTRACT

While this book is primarily about advertising, I would be remiss if I did not say a few words about public relations. Many entrepreneurs have asked me whether it is best to use advertising or public relations in order to promote their business. In many instances, I respond by saying that the answer to this question is not necessarily an either-or kind of response. While there are advantages and disadvantages to both forms of business communication, the best strategy for most entrepreneurs is to use both advertising and public relations. If you can get both of these communication forces working together, you can often accelerate your business growth.
