ABSTRACT

I was born in the early 1960s in a suburb of Paris, France. As a young Catholic, I was baptized, went to Sunday school, and did my confirmation. I attended Catholic schools and chose to attend a Jesuit college. As a teenager and young adult, I was fortunate to meet and interact with exceptional spiritual leaders. In college, I volunteered as the class religious coordinator, which had the title, strangely enough, of Rabbi. I felt a strong connection to God, praying alone in my bed or isolated in a log cabin on a spiritual retreat.
