ABSTRACT

The most important thing to know about stage fright, the point with which I start all my workshops on overcoming performance anxiety, is that you are not alone. All of us have bouts of nerves, depending on the stakes involved. You may look around at your colleagues and wonder why no one else suffers. The truth is that most people have performance anxiety from time to time, many never admit to it, and many cope by throwing diva-fits or trying to undermine their colleagues or turning to vices. What is crucial is how you handle the butterflies.
