ABSTRACT
Two articles have recently appeared in Analysis concerning the apparent contradiction between
(1) At time tl members of group G have been discriminated against on the basis of a morally irrelevant characteristic C
and
(2) At time t characteristic C is a morally relevant ground for mak ing reparation to members of group G.
