ABSTRACT
A key task for middle management is to work with staff as individuals and to forge them into an effective working group or team. This involves both motivation and encouragement of staff to achieve more and concern for the health of the team as a whole. You will be dealing with staff who may be new to teaching, those that are looking for experiences to support their future promotion and those approaching retirement.
