ABSTRACT
This book examines the migration of the Taiwanese semiconductor industry across the Taiwan Strait, one of the fl ash points in world politics today, and the security implications of this migration for US-China-Taiwan relations in order to understand the impact of globalization on security. This concluding chapter summarizes the major research fi ndings of the study and points out its limitations and contributions.
