ABSTRACT

When the Court System first began, José had a personal hand in most of its events. As the organization grew and spread across the country, and even over the borders into Canada, José's influence became more tangential. Yet because he established a strong foundation at the Court's inception, he is generally pleased by what he hears of the various courts across the land. Because he cannot possibly travel to eveiy court in the system, he loves hearing reports about the activities of his far-flung “children,” as he calls them. Sometimes he tells of their exploits with so much enthusiasm it would be easy for the listener to erroneously assume that he had been there.
