ABSTRACT

Now that we have reviewed a number of practical cases of political risk calculation as well as the views and observations of practitioners in the field, we can turn to analysis of the similarities and differences to illuminate all this information. The fact that political risk analysis of the case studies highlights different dynamics and sometimes comes to different conclusions from traditional policy analysis suggests that a political risk perspective has something unique to offer in terms of understanding policy design.
