ABSTRACT

Most executives state that the effective utilization of the talents of all employees is the organization’s greatest asset. This has been viewed as more challenging for multinational enterprises (MNEs) with an increasing multicultural workforce. “In recent years, diversity management has been considered both an issue of employment relations and an issue for all sections of the organization, from fi nancing and accounting to customer relations and from strategy to marketing.” 3 To unleash the talent and potential of this changing workforce, companies and governments are assessing their organizational systems to capitalize on the benefi ts of a diverse workforce and clientele.
