ABSTRACT

In reflecting upon his twenty years of successful experience in executive training, Graham wrote this paper on “Education for Management” for The Federal Accountant (September 1963). In this paper he stated a few basic principles that are important in education for management — indeed, in all education:

It is difficult to learn from persons with whom we agree.

We do not learn much just by listening or just by reading.

The best education for living in our world society is not too different from the best education for working in, making our maximum contribution to the progress of, a world society.
