ABSTRACT
Clause 11 of Saleform 2012 concerns the ship’s condition at delivery. This clause of Saleform has given rise to many disputes over the years.
In an attempt to fi nd balance between the competing interests of the seller and the buyer, clause 11 has been subject to signifi cant amendment in previous forms. However, the amendments made to clause 11 in Saleform 2012 are slight and do not change the balance struck under the 1993 form.
