ABSTRACT
Israel confronts a variety of threats ranging from terror, through limited war and full-scale war, to unconventional war. The country faces potential attacks from suicide bombers, tanks and ballistic missiles and potential battles in urban areas, mountainous regions and open deserts. Each one of these threats, technologies and scenarios carries the potential for new battlefield uncertainties.
