ABSTRACT

This chapter attempts to shed light on student feedback from a practical teaching perspective. It shows how feedback can be used from the perspectives of the recipient and the provider of feedback in a way that it leads to real benefits. The chapter helps teachers to know different ways of implementing student feedback; and to have knowledge of high-quality criteria from different survey methods. It guides them to be able to apply feedback management strategies as a feedback recipient and to implement a structured approach to making changes on the basis of feedback. The chapter also helps them to know how to conduct conversations about feedback; the many possible applications of student feedback in practice; and the support systems available to teachers when implementing change processes. It exposes the teacher’s feedback method which provides an overview of the advantages and disadvantages.
