ABSTRACT

The templates provided for each section are adapted from those presented in Science Research Writing for Non-Native Speakers of English and will serve as a useful canvas for students to follow in students' own writing. Create students' own templates if different structures are routinely followed in students’ discipline. The purpose of the Methods section is to provide students’ readers with all the necessary information to allow them to repeat students’ experiment and reproduce the same results. The purpose of the Data Analysis and Results section is to provide the readers with an overview of the key findings of students’ study. Even though the Introduction appears as the first section of students’ paper, it is probably best to write it last. The Data Analysis and Results section is often written first, and for good reasons: one is that many students typically start writing up once they have completed their data analysis.
