ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the mental quadrant of the 4-D Wheel, where clients express thoughts and beliefs about their sexual experiences. It encompasses cultural messages, imagination, intuition, memory, dreams, and fantasies. It includes intentions, wishes, anticipations, and expectations. In its most positive aspects, the mental 4-D experience is characterized by illumination, an open mind, increased understanding, and expanded beliefs about sexual possibilities, at any age, whether or not your clients have partners. Neuro Update #15 addresses how we feel, think, connect, and experience physical sensation as mediated by various life events, with reference to Lisa Diamond, Helen Fisher, Lucy Brown and David Linden.
