ABSTRACT
Complementing Lesson Four, Lesson Five explores writing about scenery, with an emphasis on blending scenery with feelings. The landscape may be objective; however, different people may have unique feelings when perceiving it. Therefore, association is a useful rhetorical device to strengthen this type of writing, as it bridges together two comparable aspects of one’s experience.
