ABSTRACT
This lesson continues to teach writing about events, but with close attention to the description of details. Details are integral to this type of writing, as they frequently play a large role in painting an image of the characters, developing the plot, as well as enriching the article’s theme. The rhetorical devices covered in this lesson are metaphors and similes.
