ABSTRACT
Lesson Three concerns writing about characters. Students will learn to present a person’s distinct features in terms of appearance, movements, language, and character. The rhetorical device introduced in this lesson is parallelism, which refers to consecutive placement of at least three phrases or sentences which are analogous in structure, have related meaning, and convey a similar mood.
