The Conclusion summarizes the book, reviewing the major themes chapter by chapter, then expands on some of the implications of the study. Palestinian popular struggle challenges conventional thinking about politics and war. It also challenges civil-resistance theory to take a less dogmatic approach to the idea of “nonviolent” resistance. Finally, the Conclusion also challenges the reader to think and act like a global citizen, and to consider whether Palestinian popular struggle warrants solidarity.
