ABSTRACT

Many thoughtful people have tried to prove that blacks have the same ability to achieve civilization as the other human races, and that they can compete with the latter. Black people did have the ability to become educated but up to the present day it has not occured that any black made any form of research or uttered anything intelligent or learned. The chapter explains the situation of the savage people that live in Africa’s dark jungles. Even during Muslim rule only the people, living in the reigns close to the seacoasts, such as, for instance, the Berbers, became civilized, while the others simply remained as savage as this desolate and wild place. For instance, Muslims often established schools in idol worshipping countries and allowed the children to learn the principles of the Islamic faith in the institutions. When a people becomes civilized it undergoes deep changes.
