ABSTRACT

An exciting outcome of having an expanding community of clinicians using the Restoration Therapy Model in their clinical practice is the way that the core framework of the model has been effectively applied to a number of different clinical populations. In this chapter, we will discuss some of those special populations and provide suggestions on how the Restoration Therapy Model can be used to bring about change and healing in these diverse clinical situations. First, we want to highlight some key conditions that we believe must exist in order for therapists to practice restoration therapy effectively and for there to be positive therapeutic outcomes.
