ABSTRACT
This chapter is a question and answer style article that contains past FRCA paper examples related to neurosurgery, neuroradiology and neurocritical care. It also guides trainees on the most effective manner in which to approach these questions. The chapter discusses the case study of 68-year-old woman who attends the Pain Management Clinic with a two-year history of pain in her back and legs. The discussion covers the following: the pharmacological and other treatment options, with examples, available for this lady; and factors would alert trainee to the need for further investigation or referral.
