ABSTRACT
This concluding chapter explores how the growth of alt-right populism has negatively impacted upon minority groups and people of difference across the globe. Such a shift in politics highlights the continuing importance of critical social theory in researching and advocating for the progression of ethical recognition and social justice in the twenty-first century. Next, the new knowledge unearthed by this study is briefly summarised. The chapter then outlines how the research contributes to the existing philosophical and Muslim Studies literature as well as how it influences integration policy throughout Europe. To end, recommendations for future research are listed and the book concludes with remarks relating to progress and cultural recognition.
