ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the very important subject of a quality plan to carry out the effort. The quality plan has certain essential components and key subject areas. A particularly important aspect is the documentation transitioning. Human resource issues are also addressed, both in terms of a quality council and support staff for the quality management system (QMS). Software infrastructure questions are also addressed. Finally, the all-important approval step is considered.
