ABSTRACT

The Human Change Management Body of Knowledge (HCMBOK) is a methodology and a set of practices and tools based on various disciplines, including project management, anthropology, psychology, thanatology, people management, and leadership, and can be linked to any project management methodology. For didactic purposes and better understanding by the reader, the HCMBOK provides a sequential view of the typical phases of a project. In some project management methodologies, the acquisition phase is incorporated into the execution phase. Most project management methodologies interpret as "end" the date on which the project is implemented or concluded. Project phases themselves are often partially concurrent. It is important to be flexible; for example, a macro-activity in the execution phase maybe carried out along with other macro-activities in the planning phase.
