ABSTRACT
I have worked with a lot of mixers just starting out and there are two projects that I wish they had all worked through. I have intentionally avoided drifting too far into the world of design because that is not the purpose of this book, and I have intentionally avoided going into depth on technical issues such as compressor settings or EQ because that is also not what this book is for. But I am going to dip my toe a little to explain these projects because I think it is important that a mixer have a well-rounded understanding of the sound world around them.
