ABSTRACT

In addition to giving a brief overview of the content and structure of the book, the prologue introduces the questions that have been guiding the work disseminated through the book: What is wisdom? What might a pedagogical approach that can contribute to the awakening of young people’s longing and search for wisdom look like? Is it possible to create such an approach, and if yes, how? If the work to create such an approach has succeeded, how can it be used to “bring wisdom to the world”? As a preliminary answer, and in line with reflective practice research methodology, the chapter describes and discusses an example from a three-day international dialogue workshop at the University college of South-Eastern Norway.
