ABSTRACT

Some leaders are born leaders naturally, some leaders are nurtured culturally and some are learning how they can be leaders. Whether the leaders are born or created, they should be able to adapt to a people-oriented leadership style in order to successfully confront the challenges of being managers in a multicultural workplace. Besides the importance of being culturally competent and having a high level of cultural intelligence, leaders should be focused on human relations with their employees. Culturally, a person can be influenced by the environment he was raised in, especially when it is an environment that allows individuals to express opinions and lead others to accomplish certain tasks. A leader is a social worker, a cheerleader, manager, and globally oriented individual, with a vision and strategic goals to be achieved. In our modern world, globalization is an important issue, and its consequences are inevitable.
