ABSTRACT

Change has become the constant in relation to the wider education landscape. Apart from teachers being challenged by the constant change in the education landscape, the reality for a beginner or novice teacher is that change occurs daily in the classroom and in the school context in which teachers find their. Whether in the classroom, school context or in a wider context in regard to the education framework, in order to respond to such changes throughout teachers' career, they need to become effective, reflective and resilient practitioners. The reality is that apart from national agendas and whole school agendas, the average classroom teacher needs to respond to change constantly. In the ever-changing landscape of education, change is the constant all teachers need to work with, whether it is responding to policy or national changes, national agendas, whole school agendas or changes in the classroom.
