ABSTRACT
This chapter offers the reader 24 ideas to Jumpstart! Drama in relation to non-fiction oral texts, albeit these may arise from fictional contexts. Focusing on non-fiction text types, these ideas will enable the reader to not only identify reading and writing opportunities but will also generate a range of purposeful speaking and listening. Linking to the drama conventions outlined in chapter 1 the reader will be able to recognise how non-fiction can be explored through a range of fictitious worlds.
