ABSTRACT
David Biltcliffe is Chief Education Adviser in Wakefield. His experience in teaching covers both the public and the private sectors. Before becoming Chief Adviser in Wakefield he was a senior adviser in the West Riding. He describes himself as being committed to the values of a liberal education and the development of comprehensive LEA management education. His work to this end has won him wide recognition in the Yorkshire and Humberside LEAs and nationally.
