ABSTRACT

Education runs on energy. Day in, day out, students, teachers, principals, and parents invest a lot of energy in education. High-quality education generates that energy for learning and turns it into successful learning experiences, as a result of which students’ energy for learning, and their belief in their own learning potential, gets renewed. Education systems, and local schools, should make every effort to prevent any student’s energy for learning from being wasted. Organizing high-quality education in the 21st century is: joint project; open-minded project; gradual project; optimistic project; and well underway. The gradual project is a project that feeds students, teachers, principals, educational counsellors, researchers, and policy makers, and that all those parties can feed in return. A book on education for the 21st century can be written by a single author, but the story of high-quality education in the 21st century is created and told by a global community.
