ABSTRACT

Sometimes when conducting qualitative analysis, we don’t want to only develop themes to address the research question but also to examine whether there are potential connections among the themes. These potential connections could be compared with the data confirming the relationships. We can use the links to explain a process, situation, behavior or an event. You may be asking: How can I determine the relationship among the themes I have developed? How can I use the themes to explain a phenomenon? What tool can I use to depict a visual representation of my findings? In this chapter, I address the above questions with specific examples – opening the door of creativity and innovation.
