ABSTRACT
The irony of the term epilogue in this context suggests the ending or conclusion of the book. In actuality this is just the start of a new journey of discovery. A journey where the first chapter has just been completed. Writing this book has proven to be challenging on many levels. Firstly, the content is less informed by its predecessors: applied theatre, ethno-drama, performance auto-ethnography, and more by the desire to create a blueprint for the next generation who are fully immersed in democratizing the way in which research disseminated. In doing so one of the greatest challenges was to provide a text that satisfied some the academic in me, but more importantly spoke to the artist in the academic. It is now my desire to see ‘data verbalization’ being located at the forefront of research dissemination heralding a new era with relation to the distribution of research data as a whole.
