ABSTRACT
First, the qualitative case study as a portrait in miniature is discussed, focusing on the essential elements of participant representation in written documentation. The example chapter, “Exploring the Stigmatized Child through Theatre of the Oppressed Techniques,” focuses on one fifth grade girl’s plight and her participation during an improvisational classroom drama session designed to covertly address her relationship issues with peers.
