Writing About Critical Pedagogy

First, the significance of “moments” in fieldwork and research writing is discussed as exemplars of critical pedagogical documentation. The example article, “Social Class and Social Consciousness: Adolescent Perceptions of Oppression in Forum Theatre Workshops,” describes the unexpected, subversive responses that arose from privileged youth during an improvisation workshop exploring social issues.
