ABSTRACT

This chapter first gives a brief history of neoliberal globalization as its opponents might see it. It next identifies three core concerns – popular self-determination, collective cultural autonomy, and global social justice – that motivate this diverse set of actors and how these concerns have been put into practice in the 21st century.
