ABSTRACT
The major highlight of this review is the impact of chemoinformatics on Modern Drug Discovery and Development process. The differences in traditional approach and modern approach in drug discovery are provided and how chemoinformatics has expedited the process has been discussed. The application of chemoinformatics discussed herein includes compound identification, virtual library generation, and screening; high throughput data mining, and in silico absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity are also reviewed here.
