ABSTRACT
Global economic demands and population surges led to dwindling resources and problematic environmental issues. As the climate and its natural resources continue to struggle, it became necessary to research and employ new forms of sustainable technology to help meet the growing demand. The entanglement of the quantum states in every pair of correlated particles presents important applications in quantum computing and communication and potential utilization clinically. When photons are created in pairs, they can emerge from different, rather than the same, locations. The discovery, which is in contrast to the general belief that photon pairs must originate from single points in space, could impact the study of quantum physics.
