ABSTRACT
This chapter identifies the clinical use and issues involved in the assessment of post-divorce/separation parental relationship, children’s relationship with each parent, and overall post-divorce/separation family functioning. It describes the Child’s Risk Index for Divorced or Separated Families, Contact Refusal Scale, Level of Conflict Assessment, Millon Pre-Adolescent Clinical Inventory, Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory, Parent Awareness Skills Survey, Parent–Child Relationship Inventory, Parenting Stress Index, Parting Parental Concerns Inventory, Perception-of-Relationships Test, Ackerman-Schoendorf Scales for Parent Evaluation of Custody, Behavior Assessment System for Children, Behavior Assessment System for Children Parenting Relationship Questionnaire, Bricklin Perceptual Scales, and Burks’ Behavior Rating Scales-2. Case material illustrates the use of these assessments.
