ABSTRACT

This chapter identifies the clinical use and issues involved in the assessment of couples. It describes the Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Test, Dyadic Adjustment Scale, Spousal Inventory of Desired Changes and Relationship Barriers, Marital Disaffection Scale, Areas of Change Questionnaire, Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale, Intimacy Needs Survey, Sexual Desire Inventory, Trust Scale, Couples Illness Self-Concealment, Questionnaire, Controlling and Abusive Tactics Questionnaire, Psychological Dating Violence Questionnaire, Partner Cyber Abuse Questionnaire, and the Intersession Report. Case material illustrates the use of these assessments.
