ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the provisions applicable in the world and particularly in France as regards both material controls and the execution of buildings and civil engineering structures. The primary standard regulations are provided, along with a number of examples drawing upon the outcomes of several experimental worksites conducted within the framework of the RECYBÉTON national project (NP). Special controls dedicated to the incorporation of recycled aggregates are exposed at the various construction stages: design, execution, and acceptance of works.
