ABSTRACT

Interweaving choreography with digital media is exciting for students to learn about and explore. At the undergraduate level, a dance and technology course serves as an introductory survey of choreographic integrations with digital media and 2-dimensional design theory all leading up to the theory and application of interactive media in choreography using Isadora® Interactive software. This chapter on dance and technology describes student involvement with interactive media in the choreographic and performance process by including suggested topics, conclusion, and discussion questions.
