ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the six real-world issues are: five Millennial myths, ten mistakes leaders make managing Millennial, five ways to spot a Millennial who is checked out, five reasons Millennials love sharing information, and five ways to leverage technology to get the best out of Millennials. The ludicrous actions by a handful of Millennials in the limelight cast a negative shadow over all in the generation. Though these actions are carried out by a small percentage of Millennials, many in the business world accept it as customary for all Millennials to act with the same carelessness. Valuable Millennials can be construed as ineffective or lacking drive, when they have the potential to be respected contributors. Most Millennials can't wait to get their hands on the latest and greatest technology on the market. They are drawn to the newest applications and hottest social media platforms, and are excited to immerse themselves in the next big thing.
