ABSTRACT

Different cultures, ethnicities, social norms, personalities, and behavioral traits that represent our workforce ensure that there is never a one-size-fits-all solution for ensuring people is engaged in their daily activities. Each employee group maintains different perspectives on a variety of matters in the workplace, and all believe their ideologies and preferences are the most suitable. Employees from all walks of life and every corner of the globe are thrust together in today's economy. No longer are organizations separated by culture, ethnicity, race, or sex. Instead, they maintain a dynamically rich blend of diverse talent that works side-by-side. While in the past, employees would typically be surrounded by colleagues who were in the same generation; this is no longer the case. Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers now work hand-in-hand with one another more than ever. Millennial ideology centers less on finances and promotions, and more on intrinsic motivators and intangible benefits.
