ABSTRACT

The manufacturing industry has to face various challenges to stay competitive in the market place. Method for analysis of the work of industrial machines and systems at real manufacturing environment enables to improve production process. The main purpose of this method set is to overcome the problem for real application of mathematical model of productivity rate in industry. Modern industrial machines and systems with complex designs require reliable mathematical models to calculate the manufacturing system's productivity rate. The productivity rate for any manufacturing machines and systems depends on the technological processes, the reliability of machines and mechanisms and how managerial and organisational problems are dealt with. Since there are many reasons causing the losses of productivity rate in a manufacturing system, the Priority, Action, Consider, Eliminate (PACE) prioritization Matrix is introduced to select which parameters are preferred to improve in the first place, which one in the second turn and which are not suggested to improve.
