ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the generic method of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and its extension into a quantitative approach, that is, Reliability-Centered Asset Management (RCAM) method. It presents the different stages of performing an RCM and RCAM analysis including performing a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis of critical components. Finally, it discusses the different needs of input data.
