Antagonists are the chief obstacles in any protagonist’s outer journey mission. This chapter gets into the important aspects of providing antagonists with power, exceptional motivations, and relentless drive to achieve their ends. It also answers questions regarding nonhuman antagonists, including disasters, diseases, and other life forms.
