ABSTRACT

Presentation skills can be categorised into three: (a) planning; (b) organising and (c) delivering. Studies show that some presentation skills seem to be more difficult: (1) engaging the interest of the audience; (2) handling the audience’s questions; (3) speaking in a natural spoken style; and (4) using appropriate stress and intonation. EFL college student also reported difficulties in making presentations related to three main areas: (a) audience and instructors; (b) personal traits; and (c) oral presentation skills. After reading this chapter. Readers will be able to make a winning presentation in terms of planning it, organising it and delivering it; and how to give a persuasive speech.
