ABSTRACT
M. Fiksl, A. Flogie, and B. Abersek describe that schools today are faced with the primary task of creating an environment where students play an active role in their education. Flipped and blended classrooms are two technology driven models that can be utilized by educators. A flipped classroom is when students are required to watch online demonstrations or lectures during their own time. Pop Art comes from the term popular because as the Museum of Modern Art discusses Pop Artists were inspired by popular culture as they “borrowed images from popular culture-from sources including television, comic books, and print advertising”. Prior to that particular lesson the student had become familiar with using the computer and the program to create artwork, during a card making exercise. Once students completed their illustrations, they needed to upload their artwork. This could be done with a scanner or using a camera.
